Design for Manufacturing (DFM) is an area that often tends to be neglected but will be crucial for getting a well manufactured and tested product ready for sale at a competitive price.
Unfortunately we often get involved in a design review at the point where the design has already progressed to the pre-production stage. Sometimes prompted by the manufacturer rejecting a design with too many build and test deficiencies. Regrettably when we review a product for DFM late in the cycle, we often discover some underlying issues that could and should have been addressed in a previous design stage.
Like many other aspects, DFM needs to be an integral part of the design from the early stages. The further these problems travel down the design path the more expensive the resolution becomes.
To maximise the benefits of external design reviews we recommend engaging at the concept design stage. The fastest way to create success is to replicate it. Your reviewer will have experience from a wide range of electronic product designs that can assist even a skilled team to improve the overall outcome. In other words a single prototype loop saved will often pay for the assistance we provide.

Assistance Package Silver
Your project is progressing, but the next stages are unclear or you simply need assistance with your design. A dedicated support person will be allocated to you and will perform the services. If other specialist services are deemed necessary, we will advise on additional costing.
Included in this package are for the initial Silver Assistance Stage (1 month):

If other specialist services are deemed necessary, we will advise on additional costing.
